S&M Kart Supply, Inc. began in 1983 as a small kart shop to service the local kart tracks in the immediate area. The primary focus was the rapidly growing Briggs & Stratton flathead 4-cycle engine. Over the years the business grew from a part-time service shop to a full-time full-service parts and engine blueprinting kart racing business. During the late 1980's and early 1990's we had become one of the premier engine builders for the Briggs & Stratton engine in the country winning more than several national championships and major grand prix street races all over the country.
After being established as a major Briggs & Stratton distributor; business attention slowly began shifting towards wholesale rather than retail. In 1998, we became one of the few wholesale specific kart shops in the USA. Now having moved into a larger facility, and still focusing on Briggs & Stratton 4-cycle racing... S&M Kart Supply, Inc. has now become one of the largest wholesale distributors for 4-cycle kart racing.
